Sharon, your solution shows a lot of restraint on your part. Tree spiking is
considered eco terrorism by the FBI. It has happened so much at this
point that there is actually a legal precedence. Any act that may
knowingly cause harm to workers is illegal.I am curious to what ethical theory aligns with the actions of the
protestors? Do you think they are acting in their own interest or do you
think that they regard what they are doing is for the better good?

happy. In a situation like this from the beginning to the end they all
needed to have better communication then harm may not have been caused.
It seems everyone today is always looking out for their own benefit
using ethical egoism. If others would think of others the world could be

Prof and classmates,Wow, Unit 10, time flies. The actions of the activists are unethical
and can be identified as ethical egoism. They only cared about
themselves and their cause. The actions caused injuries to another human
being (and the trees they were supposed to be protecting) and should be
turned into the authorities. If I were the owner I would set up hunting
cams to catch them with photographic evidence and get a restraining
order so they can not cause harm to anyone or anything else. Have a great week everyone,
