tasked with completing the Generating New Ideas Based on Societal Needs and
Business Opportunities KEEN Module by Friday, May 4. In materials science,
there have been many entrepreneurs who found innovative uses for materials to fill
gaps in the market. For example, Andrew Carnegie was a tycoon in the steel
industry who came from a poor family, but through finding business opportunities
and thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset, he was able to become the richest
man in the world during his lifetime
